Profile of Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun

Under The Big Bright Yellow Sun (UTBBYS) is an instrumental post-rock band which was created since 13th of August, 2007 in Bandung, Indonesia. The journey started since Yadi (Komeng) met Iben in an art gallery of the famous university which is located at the eastern of Bandung. With a same taste of music, they agreed to make an instrumental post-rock band that inspired of famous post-rock band, such as Explosions In The Sky, This Will Destroy You, Sigur Ros, Mono, etc. Their first formation consisted of four guys, namely Komeng (guitar), Eben (drum), Ion (guitar) and Apo (guitar). But Ion and Apo should leave the band because their own personal life, then their positions were replaced by Panji and Jay also. But thus,

This Means War merupakan album ketiga dari band Amerika yang bernama Attack-Attack!, Band ini mengusung aliran musik Metalcore-Electronic, yang mana mereka menggabungkan musik metal yang keras dengan bit-bit disco atau electronic yang crunchy, yang mana membuat pendengarnya headbang dengan enjoy. untuk album ketiga ini mereka memberi title "This Means War", mungkin album ini merupakan jawaban mereka atas kejadian-kejadian di beberapa negara yang selalu berperang demi mendapatkan keuntungan bagi suatu pihak, band ini cukup cerdas dalam memberi titel tersebut, karena saat ini peperangan sudah mulai tak terkontrol, bahkan sampai ada yang berperang di jejaring-jejaring sosial seperti twitter.

Metalcore !

Metalcore is a fusion genre combining various elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. The name of it is a portmanteau of the names of the two genres. The term took on its current meaning in the mid-1990s, describing bands such as Earth Crisis, Deadguy and Integrity. The earliest of these groups, Integrity, began performing in 1988; some modern practitioners of the genre include K illswitch Engage, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying and The Devil Wears Prada. Metalcore is distinguished from other punk metal fusions by its emphasis on breakdowns: slower, intense passages conducive to moshing. The genre has had a saturation of bands in the last five years. Sepultura has been credited to "lay the foundation" for the genre.
